Department Services:

The primary responsibility of the Transportation Department is to provide to and from transportation services for eligible students.

There are several additional responsibilities that are bestowed upon this department.

Eligible School Bus Riders - How do I know if my student is eligible to ride a school bus?  Well here are the statutes as per the NM Public Education Department.

Staff Resources:

Driving Record Authorization Form - Staff members who would like to become eligible, or remain eligible, to drive a school fleet vehicle must fill out this form.  These record checks must be updated annually.   

You must print BOTH forms the Physical Exam Form and the Medical Examiner's Certificate and return both to the Transportation Department upon completion

Physical Exam Form - For any staff members that require a physical exam, please print this form and have your Health Care Provider fill it out.  Physical exams are required for CDL drivers and staff that transport students in school fleet vehicles.    

Medical Examiner's Certificate - This form must be filled out by your medical examiner and turned in with your physical exam form.
