Superintendent
Harvielee Moore's instructional leadership is devoted to providing equitable opportunities for all students enrolled in Deming Public Schools. Her goals also include providing support to all school site leaders and staff. She is committed to working with community and public to support the improvement efforts she leads. Harvielee became Superintendent of Deming Public Schools in August of 2004. Before that she served the district as Associate Superintendent of Instruction and Curriculum for 12 years and was chair of the English Department at Deming High School where she taught for many years.
Harvielee is a past president of New Mexico Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, a past president of Phi Delta Kappa and Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma.
An innovative leader, Harvielee was selected "State Administrator of the Year" by NMASCD in 2002 and was recognized by the New Mexico Coalition of School Administrators at the annual conference. She was also selected as " 2002 Administrator of the Year" for Deming Public Schools.
Harvielee serves on the New Mexico Association of School Superintendents' Legislative Committee 2005-2006. Harvielee continues to remain dedicated to the success of Deming Public Schools. Her door is open to staff, students, parents and community at all times.

Associate Supt. of Human Resources
- Nancy Patterson became Associate Superintendent of Human Resources in June 2002 after serving as Program Services Coordinator and Staff Developer for the district. She has worked in the Deming district for thirty-two years in several capacities. Mrs. Patterson is currently serving as President of New Mexico School Personnel Association. Mrs. Patterson also serves on the Professional Practices and Standards Council. She has served as President of New Mexico Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, member of the New Mexico School Administrator Coalition and 3 Tiered Administrative Workgroup Chairperson. Mrs. Patterson serves on the Principal Evaluation task force. She has been a consultant working with the Public Education Department and ReLearning. Mrs. Patterson holds a bachelor's degree in education and two master's degrees; one in Reading and one in Administration.
- Mrs. Patterson oversees Human Resources, Title II, Professional Development, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance, Paraprofesisonal Testing, Substituting, Teacher Quality Induction Training, Clinical Supervision, Learning Walks, Dossiers, and the 3 Tiered Evaluation process.
- Mrs. Patterson is an adjunct faculty member for Western New Mexico University. She oversees the placement of practice teachers and trains the clinical faculty members.
