Deming Public Schools has announced the cancellation of the Baccalaureate Ceremony originally scheduled for Sunday, May 18.
Due to the forecasted high winds and in the interest of safety for students, families, and community members, the event has been canceled. It will not be rescheduled due to the number of other end-of-year events already planned.
We understand this may be disappointing, but the decision was made with everyone’s safety in mind and to avoid further scheduling conflicts.
We appreciate the community’s understanding and continued support during this busy time of year.
