Attention Deming High School and MVHS Parents and Community:
We would like to inform you of several upcoming state assessments that are important for our students:
For 11th Graders:
• New Mexico Assessment of Science Readiness (NM-ASR): March 26th
• SAT: April 9th
Please Note: It is essential that students arrive at school no later than 8:30 AM on both test days. Students who arrive after this time will not be permitted to enter the testing session and will need to participate in a make-up assessment on a later date.
For 9th Graders:
• PSAT 9: April 9th
Please Note: As with the 11th-grade assessments, it is crucial that students arrive by 8:30 AM. Late arrivals will not be allowed entry into the testing session and will need to take the assessment on a make-up day.
For 9th, 10th and 12th Graders: Students will have a remote learning day on March 26th
10th and 12th Graders: Students will have a remote learning day on April 9th
Important Reminder: On testing dates, students will not be allowed to retrieve their phones until all testing is completed in the building.
