Attention Deming High School Parents, Students, and Community:
We would like to share important information regarding the upcoming state assessment scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
10th Graders and Selected 11th Graders will participate in:
• PSAT 10 / NMSQT
• Students are required to arrive by 8:40 AM. Anyone arriving after this time will not be permitted to test and will need to return home. These students will have the opportunity to complete the test during a scheduled make-up session.
• Students testing on October 15th will receive a Golden Ticket to be used to replace 1 assignment in one class.
12th Graders will participate in:
• ASVAB Assessment
• Students must arrive by 8:40 AM. Late arrivals will not be admitted to participate and will need to return home.
• Students taking the ASVAB test on October 15th will receive a Golden Ticket to be used to replace 1 assignment in one class.
9th and 11th Graders Students will not attend school in person, instead, they will participate in a remote learning day on October 15, 2025.
Additional Information
• Students will not be released early on testing day.
• Following the assessments, students will enjoy a Field Day with outdoor activities provided by the National Guard.
