The Special Education Department of Deming Public Schools is announcing the discarding of Special Education Records. Special Education records may be destroyed five (5) years after graduation, or five years after students have exited from Special Education Services in compliance with FERPA regulations. Parents and/ or former Special Education students, who received Special Education Services on/ or before May 2020, may obtain their Special Education records by contacting Ruth Andujo at the Special Education Office by May 2, 2025. Call Ruth at 575-546-0427 Ext 1030 to set up an appointment to obtain these records.
Destruction of records is scheduled to begin June 2, 2025.
