Attention Early College High School Students and Parents:
On Wednesday, October 15, Early College High School will have an adjusted schedule for each grade due to PSAT-NMSQT testing. Below are details about testing day:
• 10th & 11th Grade students will be testing and need to be at ECHS in person.
o All Juniors have downloaded the BlueBook app which has practice tests students should review. This test is the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) for Juniors. It is required for students to be eligible for a wide variety of scholarships both in NM and nationwide. The qualifying score this past year to be a semi-finalist in New Mexico was a 1360.
o All Sophomores will take the PSAT as a “pre-test” to help familiarize them with the test. This is a state requirement for all 10th graders.
· 9th & 12th Grade students will not attend school in person, instead they will participate in a remote learning day on Canvas.
