
Our students are required by the state of New Mexico to take certain standardized tests as they progress toward graduation. This notice is to provide dates for these testing events and explain how your student can prepare.
9th Grade:
Our 9th graders will take the PSAT8/9 on April 9. The test covers Reading & Math and will be about 2 hours long. This prepares your student for successfully taking the PSAT (National Merit Scholarships) & SAT (Graduation Requirement).
11th Grade:
Our 11th graders will take two tests for graduation: The NMASR (Science) on March 26 and the SAT (Math and Reading) on April 9. The NMASR is about an hour long with 51 questions. The SAT is about 2 hours long.
Note: 9th, 10th and 12th Graders: Students will have a remote learning day on March 26th
Note: On April 9 both 9th and 11th grade students will be testing in person and should report by 8:20am. Students may leave after lunch once they have successfully completed their testing. 10th and 12th graders will be remote this day and should work on Canvas assignments from home.
Note: 100% of our 12th graders have met testing requirements for 2025. Our 10th graders will take the PSAT in October. This test covers Reading & Math and may qualify your student for National Merit Scholarships.
