Transportation Exception Request Forms (TERFs) – 2026–2027 School Year

Need transportation to a location other than your student's primary residence? Families requesting transportation accommodations must complete a Transportation Exception Request Form (TERF).

Application Window:
July 6 – July 22, 2026

TERFs will only be considered for the following reasons:

✅ After-School Daycare
(Transportation to daycare or babysitter after school only)
OR

✅ Documented Safety Concerns
(Reoccurring bullying or harassment situations requiring verification)

Required Documentation
For Daycare Requests:
Parent/guardian statement 
Employer letter verifying scheduled work hours 
Daycare provider or babysitter statement verifying hours of operation and that the student is enrolled in their care 

For Safety Concern Requests:
Police report documenting the concern 
School administrator statement verifying recurring bullying or harassment incidents 

Important Information
Approval of a TERF is not guaranteed. 
Transportation will be provided only to existing bus stops. 
No new bus stops will be created to accommodate TERF requests. 
Once a TERF has been approved, changes cannot be made during the school year. 
Families must submit a new TERF each school year.
