Parents and Guardians please be advised that the National Weather Service is expecting rain and snow showers for Sunday night that may cause inclement weather for the morning of Monday, January 8, 2024. Please dress students in appropriate winter clothing – it will be very cold.
At this time, we plan to hold school as normal HOWEVER, based on today’s information, there is a possibility of a 2-hour delay on Monday due to potential ice and winter driving conditions. We remain hopeful that the current predictions change, and school will not be disrupted, but we wanted to inform that a 2-hour delay might be a possibility.
Deming Public Schools will continue to monitor the weather through the weekend and will send an update on Sunday by 7:00 pm.
