Deming Public Schools will have a question on the ballot about issuing General Obligation School Bonds in the upcoming November 4, 2025, election. We would like to thank all the families that have supported the school bond in the past. Your continued support of the school bond allows us to fund construction projects and address District-Wide facility needs.
Priorities for the 2025 bond include:
• HVAC Needs Districtwide
• Parking Lot and Roadway Upgrades
• Upgrades to Sports Facilities for All Athletes
• School Playground and Playfield Upgrades
• Central Cafeteria Replacement
• ADA Accessibility
• Technology and Security Upgrades
• Maintain Current Infrastructure and Investment.
The school bond will not raise your property tax bill due to being a renewal and the bonds will be issued in such amounts and times to maintain a stable tax rate.
Early voting will start Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the Luna County Clerk’s Office from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2025 and voting hours will be 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at Mimbres Valley Learning Center, Holly Family Parish Hall, and Columbus Library. Please vote and help us build for the future.
