Government Affairs

The Deming Public Schools Government Affairs Team serves as a key link between DPS and local, state, and federal government offices, as well as a wide range of community and professional organizations.

Our mission is to advocate for policies, funding, and legislation that benefit Deming Public Schools and our students at the state and federal levels. By fostering strong community support and maintaining an active role in government decision-making, we aim to enhance student outcomes. Our efforts focus on ensuring that policies, procedures, and funding align with the Board and Superintendent's core goal of improving student achievement.
