The Children’s Reading Foundation of Luna County
This organization that believes that communicating
with young children is the best way to prepare the children for success in
school and life. Parents and Guardians can listen, talk, write and read
to children, our programs builds those skills through workshops and giving
books to families to grow in the fun and skills of communicating to one

Amplified Therapy
New Mexico Family Infant Toddler Program Early Intervention Provider in Catron, Grant, Hidalgo, and Luna Counties. ATI provides services and supports to families of children age birth to three who have or who are at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. Early Intervention services include support from a team of highly qualified professionals in the fields of occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, developmental instruction, family therapy, social work services, nursing, family service coordination etc., and these services are provided at NO cost to families. Free weekly home visiting and case management services to first time parents. No documentation or income requirements, registration prenatal to 2 months of age. New MexicoKids Resources and Referrals
FREE statewide service funded by CYFD that serves to connect families with young children to services in their area. We maintain the state database of all licensed child care homes and centers, registered homes that wish to be referred, early education programs, and home visiting programs. We also refer families to related services in their communities such as financial/child care assistance, WIC, domestic violence resources, and Early Intervention. Luna and Hidalgo Counties Parents as Teachers Program
Offers free home visiting services to any child from prenatal to the age of 5 focusing on encouraging healthy development, strengthening parent child relationships and school readiness. Other available services include breastfeeding support, labor and delivery classes by a registered nurse and lactation educator, a car seat distribution program and infant massage.
