Bell Elementary Parking Lot Construction adjacent to the pick-up drop-off zone is scheduled to begin January 13, 2025 and continue through the January 31, 2025. Please exercise caution and comply with the safety signage.

Due to the anticipated inclement weather, Deming Public Schools will have a 2-hour delayed start on Friday, January 10, 2025. Buses will begin to pick up students 2 hours after their original pick-up times. Be advised that some buses may be delayed a few minutes due to travel on icy or snow-covered dirt roads. Please dress students in appropriate winter clothing – it will be very cold. Duty staff will be ready to receive students as they arrive at schools. And Staff, not on duty, will report to schools by 10:00 am. Breakfast will be served from 9:30 – 10:30 am.

Bataan Elementary is excited to share updates to our master schedule, including changes to student lunch times, morning drop-off procedures, and recess routines. These adjustments aim to enhance the school day structure and improve the overall experience for our students.

Jaynes Construction is starting construction work for the My Little School Addition and Renovation Project. During this time there will be increased traffic in the areas of Buckeye, Iron, and Olive Streets. School Bus drop off and pick up area will be unchanged during the project. Please observe all safety signage and exercise caution. There will be heavy equipment and increased traffic in the area. The project is scheduled to be complete by June 30, 2025.
