Transportation Dept Mission & Goals
Mission Statement
The Transportation Department’s mission is to provide safe, reliable and efficient student transportation. Ensure that busses are maintained for safe and reliable transportation for all eligible students to and from school as well as extracurricular activity trips.
Goal # 1: Bus Safety
The department will stay in compliance with the N.M. School Transportation Bureau with it standards of excellence; Standards 6.41.NMAC
- As measured by front and rear evacuation drills
- As measured by pre and post/annual inspections
- As measured by in-service training
- As measured by bus stop monthly reviews
- As measured by school site coverage at loading and unloading zones
- As measured by school bus discipline referrals
Goal # 2: Efficient Routing
The department will stay in compliance with the N.M. School Transportation Bureau; Standards 6.41.NMAC
- As measured by route changes
- As measured by the on time delivery of student sand the number of routes completed within bus route schedule
Goal # 3: Customer Service
The department will stay in compliance with the NM School Transportation Bureau; Standards 6.41.NMAC
- As measured by the number of complaints received monthly and annually. The department will do an analysis of the data to correct any deficiencies.
