Deming High School National Honor Society Welcomes New Officers for the 2023-2024 Academic Year

The Deming chapter of the National Honor Society proudly announces the election of its new slate of officers for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. The National Honor Society recognizes and celebrates exceptional high school students who have demonstrated exemplary scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

After a thorough selection process, the National Honor Society Deming Chapter has elected the following students to serve as officers for the 2023-2024 school year:

• Mariely Majalca, 12th Grade, as President
• Brizella Baeza, 12th Grade, as Vice President
• Kassandra Nieto, 12th Grade, as Corresponding Secretary
• Riley Apodaca, 11th Grade, as Recording Secretary
• Yasmeli Vazquez, 12th Grade, as Historian
• Daisy Blanco, 11th Grade, as Service Hours Manager

These exceptional individuals have consistently displayed a strong commitment to the values and mission of the National Honor Society, making them outstanding choices for these significant leadership roles.

In their respective roles, these newly elected officers will collaborate closely to advance the ideals of the National Honor Society and to initiate projects that encourage scholarship, leadership, service, and character development throughout Deming High School.

The National Honor Society Deming Chapter continually encourages all students to pursue excellence in academics while actively contributing to their school and community. By fostering the growth of well-rounded individuals, the organization aims to prepare students to positively impact the world.
