On NM-PED Rule to EXTEND the School Calendar

New Mexico Public Education Department is proposing a NEW rule to require a minimum of 180 school days for students. This is an increase to most districts and charter schools calendars and bypasses local decision making authority.

This meeting is to share more information on the proposed rule change, allow for community feedback, and inform the public on how to provide feedback on the rule to the New Mexico Public Education Department.
